How do I disable the spell checker?

I can’t figure out how to disable the spell checker. I’ve been trying to disable it for six months and have tried a bunch of things, nothing works.

Not a problem in VS Code. Is the spell checker mandatory in Cursor? It’s insane.

Hey, by default, Cursor doesn’t have this. You might have a spell-check extension installed, like this one:

Hi, I removed 5-6 extensions (none of them obviously related spell check…?) and it stopped. I appreciate it, sorry about that! (coming from Neovim, so adjusting)
