How Do You Use Cursor for DevOps Workflows and CI/CD Automation?

Hello

I am exploring ways to integrate Cursor into my DevOps workflow; especially for streamlining repetitive tasks like writing YAML for GitHub Actions, generating Terraform modules & reviewing Dockerfiles. :innocent:

While Cursor excels at code generation & context-aware suggestions; I am curious how others are using it in real-world DevOps pipelines. :slightly_smiling_face: Is anyone using it to assist with configuration drift detection, pipeline debugging / cloud-native tooling (e.g., Helm, ArgoCD)?

One issue I face is maintaining consistency across infrastructure code & documentation. Cursor’s ability to understand project context is helpful, but I’m wondering how far it can go in replacing manual DevOps scripting or aiding in code reviews. For eg; can it be tuned to enforce best practices across different IaC templates?

I checked https://docs.cursor.com/welcome this documentation which helped me out a lot. When I first looked up what is a DevOps Engineer; I realized the role is all about bridging code and operations exactly where Cursor seems to shine. :slightly_smiling_face:

I would love to hear how other DevOps-minded users are taking advantage of Cursor’s capabilities to cut down friction in CI/CD, container orchestration, or cloud provisioning. :innocent:

Thank you !! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello! Fingers crossed this doent cross the line as too self promo-y, but the company I work for has been building tooling for this exact scenario.

While not specifically “in” Cursor, we use Cursor all the time and want to extend what teams can do. Here’s a blog post with some more info on our approach so far!
