gpt-4.5-preview is an incredibly expensive model and I don’t want to use it. It’s disabled in my settings, but Cursor is still using it and destroying my budget. Is it possible to prohibit Cursor from using this model?
Hey, that shouldn’t be possible. If you didn’t enable this model, it shouldn’t have been used. Perhaps you accidentally switched to it earlier.

“Shouldn’t be possible” and “yet it is” are simultaneously true. I keep trying to disable Claude models and they still keep getting used.
