How to Enable Copilot in Cursor? 0.47

Hi,

I pay for both Copilot and Cursor, and configured them for different purposes. Since updating to 0.47, I no longer see the ‘Copilot Edits’ or Copilot Chat in my sidebar.

I am sure these is a “competition” element that Cursor would like to remove, but I think it’s in their best interest to not force people to choose - they might not like what people choose!

Rather, having copilot available makes Cursor the “easy” choice. Let’s get it back into 0.47 please!

It’s really disappointing for me to be inaccessible to Copilot. I paid for Copilot and now I cannot use it in Cursor 0.47. Maybe I need to switch to VS Code again.

You can write an emial to ask for refund of ms copilot. I did so…

But frankly, I really want ms copilot could be competitive to cursor, which it is not at present(not smartly know waht I want from context, no web search, no image upload support…)

Thank you very much. The same opinion to you. As Copilot is the only unavailable extension in Cursor, I prefer to believe it’s a purposed feature, even though the cursor developers claim “it’s a bug and will fix it.”

@deanrie any update on this?

Hey, we might bring it back soon, so stay tuned for updates.
