How to install exact extension of VS code in Cursor

How to install the exact extension same as which exist and in VS code. So not to be victim of malicious extension.

This is from VS Code:

This below is from Cursor as publisher is different downloads are different so how I can trust that both are same and not harmful:

You can see it is just published in September month.

I have searched a lot for Mysten Labs Move extension in Cursor but I am not able to find that extension. So how to solve this?
@deanrie

Hey, thanks for the report. I understand your concern about extension security - it’s important.

Cursor uses the Open VSX Registry, not the official VS Code Marketplace. You can see in my screenshots that “awelc” (Adam Welc) is an employee of Mysten Labs who published the extension in Open VSX. The author is verified (checkmark next to “mysten”), so it’s a legitimate extension from the same team.

The difference in publisher (“awelc” vs “mysten-labs”) is due to how extensions are published in Open VSX - usually a specific developer does it on behalf of the company.

If you still want to install the exact extension from the VS Code Marketplace:

  1. Open VS Code, search for Mysten Labs Move
  2. Click the gear icon → “Download VSIX”
  3. In Cursor: Cmd+Shift+P → “Extensions: Install from VSIX…”
  4. Select the downloaded file

Let me know if you need help.

Hopes you guys come with better solution I have seen many people wallets were drained because of an extension.

Thanks for help.
