I have multiple projects in my workspace.
How do I set a specific project for the agent to work with?
Should I just mention the directory name? I would expect projects to be listed under @ menu but they are not. For now I make sure project is selected in Source Control and it seem to do the trick but would like more obvious way of doing this.
Try to drag-n-drop project folder from Explorer View to Chat
This, unfortunately, doesn’t work with top-level project folders. As well as “Add directory to Cursor chat” context menu. Both available, but do nothing. Seems like a bug to me.
just mention it or tell agent to work on certainly project this work for me. even maybe just add agents.md that tell you’re working on 1 workspace with multi project.
Indeed, I don’t see it in mention menu initially but as I start typing - I can find these project folders.

Another thing that looks as possible bug - except for the first project in workspace, rest require me to accept every change unless I disable external files protection in Cursor settings. Also very annoying, and forces me to lower security settings.
