what many people have tried with success

  • learning how to write better prompts
  • provide better requirements for agent when coding.
  • provide better rules for agent when coding.
  • use a cheaper but still good model for planning then the fast response high quality model for coding.
  • often less but more focused prompt/rules/requirements… help avoid hallucinations, mistakes or misunderstanding.
  • stop the agent when it is going in circles doing bugfixes etc. as early as possible, this requires you to understand how to code actually and instruct the AI what to do instead (or ask it to search online for solutions to such an issue)
