I can’t find the verification button.
I followed the configuration tutorial on the Minimax website to set up the API, but it shows that my API is not supported, and I can’t find the Verify button.

Steps to Reproduce

Cursor Settings > Models >input key and url > but I can’t find the verification button.

Hey, thanks for the report. The Verify button was removed from Cursor - you don’t need it anymore.

Just enter your API key and base URL in Settings. Cursor will automatically verify the connection the first time you use the model.

The Minimax docs you’re following are outdated and show the old UI. Do this instead:

  • Enter your API key
  • Enter the base URL
  • Try the model in chat or Agent mode

Verification happens automatically on first use. You’ll also need a Pro subscription to use your own API keys.
