I see constant writes to state.vscdb-journal

I see constant writes (every few seconds) to state.vscdb-journal which is on a HDD (not NVMe). It gets the HDD activity to 100% for few seconds. I can trigger it every time I get the focus in and out of Cursor. At which point Cursor freezes. It only happens when there is a long chat even when it’s not been updated for like 12 hours! I should either clear ALL the chats ALL the time or somehow move the Cursors settings directory to the SSD/NVMe which will start constantly trashing the drive which is not good either. Why is it doing so many small (according to the “Resource Monitor” under Windows) writes so frequently when literally nothing changed?

How to fix that? It makes Cursor basically unusable on a HDD! It freezes all the time.
On top of that it sometimes crashes when it freezes.
