No matter how I try to install the MCP service on my Mac, it always shows “Client closed”.

It might be an issue with local tool not running well?
I do not use smithery basically for it being full of time wasting auto-imported stuff that is not setup for actual running anywhere.
So having used several of the original tools (sequential-thinking and memory) are AFAIK Anthropics implementation examples, i have not had any issues at all with those tools running after first manual cursor restart which was necessary to get them running at all automatically.
I did in first days always check the MCP tool settings page, now never and just rely on it daily.
@rice408s can you try using this fetch server instead? https://smithery.ai/server/fetch-mcp
That one wasn’t super optimised by the author and it takes too much build time → timing out when our servers are busy.
