I want composer window as its own panel, just like Chat

Why is it a separate window that is floating around? I would love to have a separate panel for it just like Chat. To me its just annoying that it behaves differently.

In the newest version 0.41 this is possible. See three dots (…) menu in composer, there should be the action “Open composer as pane”

Just to add to @blummis answer…

There are three Composer views available:

  • Bar (Ctrl + I)
  • Pane (Ctrl + I and then Ctrl + D)
  • Control Panel (Ctrl + Shift + I) - can be dragged to another screen
