Describe the request
The goal is to solve two problems:
- Deal with the distraction cost of sitting and waiting for Cursor to do a task
- Streamline development planning
When I’m developing a feature in Cursor, I’m iteratively asking it to do work. I want to be able to build a queue of tasks/prompts, such that when I’m satisfied with the previous step, I can just plug it in. This gives me something to do while the agent is working (carefully plan out the next steps) so that I’m not distracted or twiddling my thumbs, and it allows me to rapidly progress in iteration.
right now I either use a pencil and paper to make a list or the Notes app.
- Why not just type it into the input box while the agent is working? More often than not, the agent makes a mistake or doesn’t do what I wanted it to do and I have to iterate on the previous task. I have lost count of the times where I carefully prepared my prompt for the next task, then had to copy and paste it to TextEdit so I can go back and iterate on the previous task.
