Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, this is a known issue. The team is aware and tracking it. I can see the error in your screenshot.

A few things you can try in the meantime:

  1. Disable HTTP/2: Settings Cmd+, then search for HTTP/2, and enable Disable HTTP/2. This helps a lot of users when requests don’t reach the server.
  2. Network Diagnostics: Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics, then check if you see any connection errors.
  3. Try the stable build: you’re on the Nightly track. Switching to Stable can help rule out nightly-specific issues.

There’s also a long thread about the same issue where you can follow progress: Taking longer than expected

Let me know if any of this helps.
