Infinite Loading with Opus 4.5 it’s happening just with me?

Hey, thanks for the report. I need details to understand the cause.

Please share:

  • Where exactly the Opus 4.5 loading hangs: Ask, Agent, Inline Edit, Plan
  • Cursor version and OS (Help > About > Copy)
  • Model provider: Cursor, Anthropic API, AWS Bedrock (if Bedrock - region and exact model ID)
  • 2-3 Request IDs of hanging requests (chat right menu > Copy Request ID). Guide: Getting a Request ID | Cursor Docs
  • Screenshot of the console during the hang (Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console)
  • Result of Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics (screenshot)

Quick checks:

  • Update Cursor to the latest version and restart
  • Settings > Network > enable Disable HTTP/2 and restart
  • Run without extensions: cursor --disable-extensions, check in an empty project
  • Or temporary clean profile: cursor --user-data-dir="CursorData/Test1"
  • Try Sonnet 4.5. If Sonnet works but Opus 4.5 hangs - note that
