IntelliSense / Pylance / Basedpyright broken with 0.42.X cursor - Cursor IDE unusable with python

There is no plugin working with Cursor IDE right now which provides IntelliSense (eg. auto-imports). Pylance does not work at all, until now Basedpyright was the alternative. Right now it just doesn’t work. After deleting an import in a file it does not even highlight that something is wrong. It renders Cursor IDE totally unusable with python.

You’re right,I got bad experiences in python, lost Intellisense, but everything works perfectly in vscode,I also found that many extensions about python can’t installed in cursor’s extension store, maybe microsoft unallowed them? I’m not sure.

Interestingly, even after nine months, the Cursor team still hasn’t resolved this issue. Developing Python projects in Cursor remains a frustrating experience, and it’s unclear what their current priorities are.
