Introducing The X Subscription

I often need to switch to use third-party models, so I require the quota for third-party models. However, I understand from the explanation that if I change my current plan to Ultra, I will lose the quota for third-party models. Is it possible for me to temporarily switch to a plan that previously had third-party quota, and then maintain the current status in the future?

Switching to The X Subscription is permanent. Once your accounts are combined you can’t move back to your current Cursor plan, and the older plans aren’t available to buy again, so there isn’t a way to switch temporarily.

You can still use third-party models with The X Subscription, but that usage will be charged at API prices.
