I see the token count on the dashboard, but the math behind how quickly I hit the cap makes zero sense.
Prior to unifying, I worked 6 to 10 hours a day, at least 5 days a week, and only ever hit 60% to 80% of my monthly plan. Grok bot never exceeded 50%. Now, I am burning through 100% of my usage in 2 to 3 days. Last week it lasted 5 days; this week, 3.
I haven’t expanded my workflow at all. If anything, I have cut back: I removed routines and triggers, cut my prompt volume in half, and moved tasks to the CLI trying to preserve quota. It hasn’t helped.
I pay $200 a month for this. Bundled extras like Grok Imagine or X integration do not offset an IDE plan that runs dry mid-week. If the base model is Grok 4.5, why is it being billed against the pool like a frontier model?
Something is broken with how usage is metered. After subscribing for two years, this will be my last month if the drain rate isn’t addressed or explained.
