I am working on an website where I need all of my regular tools in cursor, especially the design tool, on my iphone as I’m starting to shift into the mobile side of the development.
The best workaround I have now is Iphone mirroring tool, and taking screenshots, pasting them into cursor.
It’s a backwards step in progress. I’d love to see a virtual iphone (and android) in the Cursor Browser, and allow me to rotate the device and view it how it would look on the device.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. A device preview right in the Cursor Browser (device presets, rotation, viewport emulation) is a popular request, and it’s already come up in a few threads. To keep votes and discussion in one place, it’s best to stick to a single thread. Here’s the main one for this: Change to mobile/tablet/desktop in @browser
Honest status: there isn’t a separate UI toggle for device mode on the near-term roadmap right now, so I can’t share an ETA.
For now, a workaround is to ask the agent to resize the browser window to a mobile viewport via a prompt, for example “resize the browser to an iPhone-sized viewport”. It’s not full device emulation, but it helps for checking responsive layout without switching to external Chrome.
