I’m really excited about the launch of Composer 1 — amazing work from the Cursor team!
That said, I noticed something in billing and I’m not sure if it’s expected behavior or a bug.
I made 33 on-demand Composer 1 requests, but the billing details don’t match what I expected:

Usage tab: shows 33 requests, total cost around $8.xx USD

Billing & Invoice tab: shows 234 calls, each billed at $0.04 USD, totaling $8.xx USD
My question is:
How did 33 on-demand requests turn into 234 billable calls?
Is Composer automatically making multiple backend calls per request (e.g., planning, retries, tool calls, or internal chain-of-thought steps), or is this a billing bug?
