It’s not very stable. It would be great if it could accurately identify whether the submitter is Cursor.
Commits are sent as the user who is logged into the computer account, therefore the user using Cursor.
Background Agents do actually submit code as Cursor since they are not submitted from a users machine.
Would you like this to be a feature request or perhaps just discuss it?
I noticed that the terminal used by Cursor has a unique symbol. I’m hoping to find out what markers are used by the terminal and the background proxy used by Cursor so that I can identify them in Git hooks.
