It looks like you’re on a pre-release version. We fixed this issue on main this morning. It still needs to go out in a release, which should happen today, but in the meantime you can revert to a stable version.

This error really did occur for me, and the cursor was on the desktop - reinstalling helped (the latest stable version). However, when I launch the app from the desktop, the problem comes back. It only works when launched from the root directory.
