Simple as that, pretty much this File unsupported on Jupyter notebook . However, just wanted to make this a feature request, not just a post in the forum. Hoping to allow Cursor editing Jupyter files (.ipynb) asap!

Jupyter Notebooks already kinda work in cursor. For better support (such as being able to apply changes) make sure to also upvote this :backhand_index_pointing_right: Jupyter Notebook support

Yeah, when trying to apply in a chat recommendation it says come to the forum to encourage jupyter notebook support. Here I am! Our team is loving cursor, and notebook support would be a great update. Thanks for the power tool!

Curious, as I have not built a juptyr notebook yet… What is the [not_cursor] tool of choice for data science folks like @tstang-instacart ’s team may be using? Positron/Rstudio? Do you have Positron/Rstudio in your daily workflow? I like to have all my cursor docs as .rmd so I can fiddle with them…

Also thirsty for this - Python Notebooks working with Composer would be huge for us. The autocomplete already works great, for what it’s worth.

Looking forward to this! Currently using notebook in Cursor, but the chat generation fails also don’t see any option to generate code inside the notebook cell

i’ve used CMD+K in jupyter notebook before. Does that not work anymore?

cmd+k is a good workaround but it wouldn’t work with the composer mode. I think the real dream for people is to use composer mode to automatically encapsulate cells, re-import that code in the jupyter notebook environment and then still be dynamically creating plots and looking at dataframes etc. lo…
