Just sending kudos to the Cursor dev team

For reference, I’m a Genesys Cloud org admin. For anyone who’s done GenCloud administration, you know it can be an absolute annoyance at times.

Cursor has been immensely helpful with creating effective and attractive call data dashboards that are now in use by my ELT on a daily basis.

In addition, I’ve been able to automate many of the annoyingly repetitive tasks, which has been a huge boon to response times.

I’ve also been able to create custom scheduled reports through Cursor that many of my supervisors find highly useful.

Overall it’s been a really good experience. Cursor’s code writing is accurate, relatively speedy, and it remembers how my environment is set up, unlike several others that I had to fight with to get things right.

As one example, I gave ChatGPT and Cursor the same prompt for the same python script using Genesys APIs. Cursor got it right first go. ChatGPT took an hour and multiple corrective prompts to achieve the same result.

While I know no software is perfect, kudos to the Cursor devs. For my use case, you’re killing it. Thank you!

Great to see a positive experience for a change. I’m curious, as a Genesys admin automating operational workflows, are there any tasks you still won’t let Cursor perform without reviewing first? Wondering where that trust boundary is for people using AI in production environments.
