Keeping everything on the same line?

Cursor keeps aggressively adding new lines to my single line spans. For some files it literally triples the number of line counts.

I get it — lots of you get your bonuses based on line count, but some of us actually enjoy code legibility.

How do I turn that autocorrect functionality off?
