I’m a keybinding power user with many custom shortcuts. I’m missing AI-related keybindings, especially for Agent Chat.
Main request: Add a command like composer.cycleAgentMode to toggle between:
- Ask permission
- Run everything
- Run everything on sandbox
Use case: I often want the agent to run freely on some chats (prototyping, scaffolding), but need tighter control on others (production code, sensitive repos). Currently I have to click the dropdown every time - a keybind would let me switch instantly without breaking flow.
Suggested shortcut: Something like Cmd+Shift+Y or user-configurable.
This would significantly improve workflow for users who frequently switch agent autonomy levels.
And in general would love to see more keybindings on the AI part of the IDE.
