Hi,
Problem
Sometimes my message isn’t finished and I press Enter by mistake and send it. I changed settings so sending requires Ctrl+Enter, but I don’t always want that — short messages are nicer with Enter to send.
Proposal
Add a keyboard shortcut that toggles the “send” behavior for the chat input, for example:
Default mode: Enter sends, Shift+Enter (or similar) for a new line — good for quick messages.
After toggling (e.g. Ctrl+Alt or another chord): Ctrl+Enter sends, Enter inserts a newline — good for long, multi-line prompts.
Toggling again would return to the previous mode. Optionally, the toggle could be session-only or remembered — your call.
Why it helps
I could switch to “safe long-compose mode” when I know the text will be long, without digging into Settings every time, and switch back when I’m done (or send with Ctrl+Enter and then return to normal).
