I have my doubts about that oneā¦ especiall when Antropic has CC for all the vibe boyz. And to be fair Im more angry that when you go beyond your way to add it manually via the APIā¦ doesnt matter if its openrouter, openapi, or moonshine apiā¦ you can have a glorified chat which crashes as soon as the model try to access any file.
kilo code extension in cursor works well. use that. Its a separate chat window to use within cursor. I slow down API requests a little. unrestricted access to what ever coding you want to do.

Yup, Kilo Code, Cline, ā¦ already have implementations.
now cursor more likely use more tokens. so those economic model are needed. Not all of us can afford 200$ plan

honestly itās my fav model so far. I DO want it in Cursor!
this one is a must to have, with those numbersā¦ and being 70-80 % cheaper than claude opus 4.5 with approx same performance 
even if you can not use swarm mode at cursor, scale by having several chats with cheap kimi k2.5 is a game changer against costs contention

I just went to free vs code, installed kimi code extension from moonshot. It handles massive agent swarm and most the stuff I used in cursor. Iām now unsure why Iām using cursor. Kimi 2.5 swarm is awesome. Kimi code is now IDE and cliā¦ so you can just chat. Needs kimi code sub but nothing else. Vs code is free. Unsure if vscode with kimi extension has a swarm limit but I saw at least 12 sub agents at one time so far and the quality of my research is 10x better. Not exaggerating.

How do i get openrouter to work. Qwen3 is giving out free credits and i cannot find any instructions on how to get it to work. i dont know where to put the json file that claude gives me. the instructions all the LLMs have are wrong.
Dario just had a call to Cursor team and said to postpone kimi 2.5 implementation to the time when they release claude sonnet 5, so everyone will switch to it, skipping the kimi completely.
