Okay so here’s the thing when 3.5 sonnet was here it was great to be honest
when 3.7 sonnet came out it was great as well
but with the latest update I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT CURSOR DID TO OUR AI
using sonnet 3.7 with code pilot is amazing still works fine. h-e-ll even in the official Claude chat website and copy and pasting stuff works better and is more better than cursor right now.
i do not know if it is the context length, or some sort of limiter they put in it. it used to be when i switched to yolo mode it would do stuff to a good enough degree in a manageable chunk. i have to keep telling it to do stuff in smaller chunks cause it gets cut off. or it now over complicates things to the extreme, or changes the package versions of node or next apps to lower older versions that are depreciated.
i really don’t know. this is ridiculous if i wanted a circus i would go to one. i want a developer companion. that is what cursor is to me a developer that works along side me and gets stuff done. this has been the most unproductive day i have ever had. and that is saying something. btw when using 3.5 sonnet it is the same way. i don’t know why it is the same way. nothing needed to be changed from either version and i am not on the free trial i am a pro member.
