Most of the pages on cursor.com have a light/dark mode toggle, but if the user dashboard has an option for a light mode I sure can’t find it. Possibly because the page is so dark that while using my laptop outside I need to turn the screen to maximum brightness to even tell that there’s text on the page…
More generally, a global light/dark toggle for the entire site (dashboard, docs, forum) that’s remembered by the account would be much appreciated.
Yes, I agree. It’s a bit hard to read, especially the text in that darker gray (#666666) color. It could be at least lighten up a bit
I’ve looked everywhere to get out of the godforsaken dark mode but can’t find it! Does it exist?
Please. Especially with adding web/mobile access this is VERY needed.
With the amazing new cursor/agents page I’m doing more work from other devices, on hikes/etc. While the dark mode is my typical preference when working indoors, I also have an e-ink device that has a Chrome browser. It would be sol helpful to be able to toggle the web page to light mode for working in bright daylight outside. I imagine a little toggle for the cursor/agents page (perhaps any page on cursor.com) that allows the user to simply toggle dark/light mode.
It seems like it should be such a quick fix, but I guess they ran out of requests and can’t afford to upgrade their plan
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. We’ll consider it.
The dashboard currently only has a dark mode, which makes it very difficult to read the text displayed on the screen in certain situations. It would be great to add a light mode so that the information on the screen can be read more easily.
cool
Same here! The dark theme is quite uncomfortable for my eyes. Would love to see a light mode option added. Thanks!
The crazy thing is for one day last week there was an actual light/dark mode toggle in the bottom left of the Cursor dashboard and I was able to get out of that godforsaken dark mode. Then the next day it was gone and I’m back to squinting to read my usage stats again! Did anyone else experience this, or am I hallucinating??
Any update?
The ask here is a UX issue … the webpage at the moment it’s unreadable. The question is not even about dark or light mode, it is just making the webpage readable (and dark and light mode should be about system/local computer settings anyway).
Again, any update?
