Hi All,
Until recently I was able to easily switch between using Cursor and Claude Code (or Codex) on my Windows 11 Pro PC, e.g. to compare and contrast the two.
But now I can’t! (Unless I’m missing something?)
Reason: I’ve recently switched to using Laravel Herd for Laravel development on my Windows PC. Laravel Herd is a native Windows app that runs only on the Windows file system, NOT on WSL. Herd is great!
So I’ve been migrating my WSL Laravel projects to the Windows file system so that I can work on them using Herd.
But Claude Code requires WSL.
So once I’ve migrated a project to the Windows file system, I can still work on it using Cursor (which doesn’t need WSL to run), but now I can’t switch over to Claude Code to work on the same project.
Or am I missing something?! ![]()
