I just updated to Version: 0.48.4. At first it gave me an error and the chat wouldn’t show up at all. Then I rebooted cursor and it came up, new chat. I looked at other projects. All chat history gone in all repo’s.
On Macbook Air 2020, M1.

I should add that I use specstory. I doubt that it clashed but who knows. It did save the chat history so I can access it that way thankfully. I also made a few changes to settings.json. I reverted the ones that I thought could have had an effect, but no dice.
I tried to open another project and it seems to be going to the sqlite db and repopulating it. Then in the middle of that it popped up the same error I mentioned initially. I got a screenshot of it, attached.

Yes - that one had me scratching my head!!
Weird though - it’s not broken for ALL instances - if you had multiple windows open before it updated, they come back up afterwards still.
It looks like I’m also having some IP reputation issues popping up cloudflare js checks even though I’m browsing through C0X cable my cable/network provider. Even entering this forum I get blocked by cloudflare and have to authenticate. It blocked some uv installs. So I bet cursor had some network issues and maybe you had some today as well? I hope it comes back.
Same here. Just upgraded to 0.48.6 from 0.47.x
Good I’ve had Specstory installed! Never trust Cursor with storing your chat history! The mistrust started back when I tried move project around my hard drive.
