Cursor keeps resetting several things during usage or upon restart of my computer.
- “Auto” agent mode (switching off from claude-3.7-sonnet thinking-enabled; during use)
- Automatic sign-in no longer working (when completely closing the Cursor application, not when an oom error prompts for a “Reopen” of the Cursor application)
- Once I’ve signed in, it only shows claude-3.5-sonnet available for several minutes until finally showing the rest of the AI models.
- “Rules for AI”/“User Rules” sometimes cleared and blank upon computer restart.
- “Enable auto-run mode” turns itself off sometimes upon computer restart.
- “Command allowlist” and “Command denylist” clearing to be blank sometimes upon computer restart.
“Help”->“About” indicates I’m using v0.48.8. Though I know the indicated version is sometimes bugged and showing an inaccurate version for what I currently have running (happened a lot through the 0.46.x versions). Using Windows 10.
These bugs don’t completely stop me from using Cursor, but they have dramatically lowered my productivity, forcing me to reset everything properly frequently and to keep local files for back-up copy+pasting.
