Hey, thanks for the detailed report. The fact that Windows works on the same network but Mac doesn’t usually points to a network path issue on the Mac side proxy, VPN, or a security tool, not Cursor itself or the server. Your requests do reach the servers and the model responds, but the connection drops mid stream. That’s why you see Reconnecting and Taking longer than expected.
Let’s go step by step:
Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics. Please run it and share the results.
Disable HTTP/2: App Settings Cmd+Shift+, then search for HTTP/2 and turn on Disable HTTP/2. After that, fully quit and reopen Cursor, not just Reload Window.
Since Windows works on the same network, check if you have any Mac specific tools that might be touching traffic like Little Snitch, Zscaler, a corporate VPN, MDM, or antivirus. Try disabling them temporarily and test again.
Optional: pick a specific model instead of Auto and see if the behavior changes.
Let me know what the diagnostics show and whether Disable HTTP/2 helps, then we can dig in further.
