Describe the request
I noticed that when I ask multiple models, there’s no option to choose a specific one to continue. Even if I use only one model from then on, it stays as a branch. There’s no way to “unbranch” the conversation once multiple agents have been prompted.
This causes problems with the agent not being able to apply changes to the actual code or see changes made to files outside its work tree. It works only within its branch. It does not see the actual files anymore. Also if any changes are made manually to the worktree files, there’s no option to apply them, only agent-created changes are “applyable”
So the idea is to have an option to make the branched chat “official” so it will have access to the real code.
