- Grok is broken
- Gemini is having trouble connecting to the model provider
- K2 is broken and having trouble connecting to the model provider
- Claude is too expensive
- o3… ok, it’s online, but more expensive and dumber that Gemini and Grok
- o4-mini and auto suitable only for simple tasks
I’ve already come to terms with the new pricing — just let me work steadily, at least.

Failing three-quarters of the time is not okay. Why in the world is it failing so often?
I’m on the $200-a-month plan, and I use Grok about half the time. Make this work, add in Grok 3 Mini. Don’t just let it stay broken. This is unacceptable.

Which models did you compare it with?
I’ll be the first to admit that Grok 3 Mini is not my top pick. I would much prefer Grok 4 to simply be working, but I’ll take anything to speed up my workflows.
Honestly, I found that Grok 3 doesn’t seem to be as useful as Claude 4, but nothing beats Grok 4. And I know that Grok 5 is going to be coming out in the next month or two. And I’m just frustrated at the lack of communication from the Cursor team around Grok and the lack of progress in fixing it.
