I have PRO plan subscription. Today Cursor IDE always fails to connect any model though network checks are ok.
Then it writes “We’re experiencing high demand for Composer 1.5 right now. Please switch to Auto, another model, or try again in a few moments.” - But i don’t use Composer 1.5 at the moment. Any model I choose it writes the same (about Composer 1.5 )

Steps to Reproduce

Use Cursor IDE, ask any question.

Title: cursor.com/agents Send button stays disabled and no request can be submitted
Environment:
• OS: macOS
• Browser: reproduceable in normal and InPrivate window
• URL: h_t_t_p_s://cursor.com/agents

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to h_ttps://cursor.com/agents
  2. Sign in to Cursor
  3. Open the Agents page
  4. Type a prompt into the input box
  5. Observe the Send button

Expected behavior:
• The Send button should become enabled after entering a prompt
• I should be able to submit an agent request

Actual behavior:
• The Send button remains disabled no matter what I type
• No request can be submitted from the web UI

What I already checked:
• The same issue happens in an InPrivate window, so it does not seem to be a cache/cookie problem
• Cursor desktop network diagnostics are successful:
• DNS: Success
• HTTP/2: Success
• SSL: Success
• API: Success
• Agent: Success
• Authentication: Success
• I also previously received backend errors indicating:
• ERROR_RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED
• We’re experiencing high demand for Composer 2 right now
• However, on cursor.com/agents this specific issue happens before any request is sent, because the button is already disabled

Notes:
• This may be a web UI regression, session/entitlement issue, or a model-loading/routing problem on the Agents page

Title: Agent mode fails in Cursor desktop UI, web Agents page Send button stays disabled, while CLI agent still works
Environment:
• App: Cursor desktop UI
• Also tested in Cursor CLI
• OS: macOS
• Web page also affected: https://cursor.com/agents

Steps to reproduce in Cursor desktop UI:

  1. Open Cursor desktop
  2. Open Agent mode
  3. Select Codex 5.3
  4. Submit a request
  5. Observe the error

Expected behavior:
• The request should be sent with the selected model
• Agent mode should respond normally

Actual behavior:
• The request fails with ERROR_RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED
• The error says Cursor is experiencing high demand for Composer 2
• This is unexpected because the selected model was Codex 5.3

Steps to reproduce on web:

  1. Open the Agents page while signed in
  2. Type any prompt
  3. Observe the Send button

Expected behavior:
• The Send button should become enabled after entering a prompt

Actual behavior:
• The Send button remains disabled no matter what I type
• No request can be submitted from the web UI

What I already checked:
• Desktop network diagnostics are successful for DNS, HTTP/2, SSL, API, Agent, and Authentication
• The web issue also happens in an InPrivate window, so it does not appear to be a cache/cookie issue
• Cursor CLI agent is working normally in the same environment
• This suggests the problem is specific to the desktop UI and web UI paths rather than a general account or network outage

Why this looks like a product issue:
• In desktop UI, there may be a model-routing mismatch where Agent mode is still hitting Composer 2 even though another model is selected
• On web, the issue happens before any request is sent, suggesting a frontend/session/entitlement/model-loading problem
• Since CLI agent works, the failure seems isolated to Cursor desktop UI Agent mode and the web Agents page
