Mcp server tool not found(Normal has been restored 03/31 13:52)

Last Friday, I open sourced an MCP server for code review. Last week’s testing and usage were normal. Today morning, I tried again and found that no matter what I did, the cursor error could not find the tool:

However, using the

npx-y @ modelcontextprotocol/observer node command “dist/mcc_code_deview. js”

locally http://localhost:5173/ can run normally, which is quite strange

The version I am using In windows:
edition: 0.47.8 (user setup)
Submit: 1.96.2

ElectronBuildId: 32.2.6
Chromium: undefined
Node.js: 128.0.6613.186
V8: 20.18.1
OS: 12.8.374.38-electron.0

It’s the recent update

Same here. No MCP server works since this morning.

Constantly get “Tool … not found” for every MCP tool use.

It seems that many people have encountered it, and it seems that they need to wait for repairs

I am also having trouble with the same issue

mcp tools were working this morning, but not anymore. Tries executing a strange tool name mcp_supabase_live_dnagerously, for example, where it mashes the toolname with the tools. It tries, but just says Tool … not found

I rolled back to version 0.47.8, but the problem is still the same.

same is happening to me on macOS 15.3.2… was working fine yesterday, stopped working today. shows green in my settings but I get tool not found error

Yes there is another thread relevant to that with additional updates

Oh so its also on older versions? then perhaps cursor server side temporary issue.

looks like the service is alive.

Hopefully it’s a temporary issue

Yes confirmed by several users in different forum threads as working.

Thank you, I also tried it quickly and it turned out to be normal
