There are several reports of people having issues with the Tool limit we currently have:

- and several other similar topics
I understand the limitations/concerns about degradation of quality, but it would be nice to be able to selectively toggle group of tools available in a prompt/chat/project. For instance, the official GitHub mcp alone already surpasses the current limit:
I could toggle one by one, which is time consuming and especially annoying when switching contexts.
It would be amazing if we could (through Cursor’s UI) create a group of tools with an arbitrary name, e.g., “GitHub repo read-only tools”, add the related tools to this group, and toggle all of them in a single click (for any chat), or even be able to set a project-wide default, so new chats pick that up.
Please, consider the usability improvement this would have in the long term, as well how well it addresses the current concerns/limitations.
