Hey all, I’ve been building an open-source MCP server called Mnemolith and wanted to share it here.
The problem: rules and memories drift from the code. A rule says “we use Postgres 16”, someone upgrades, and the AI keeps acting on the old fact.
Mnemolith ties each memory to the files behind it and flags it when those files change. Everything runs locally (no account or API key), it can import your existing Cursor rules with mnemolith import, and the same memory is shared with Claude Code and Codex.
Setup: curl -fsSL ``https://mnemolith.dev/install.sh`` | sh. Setup finds Cursor and connects it automatically.
Would love to hear if this matches a pain you’ve had, and any rough edges you hit.
