It was honestly able to answer questions for my code that other SOTA models could not. I tried to add the model in the settings, but it does not work because “That model cannot use tools”.
I could make it work in “Ask” mode, but it is pretty slow, and it would be nice to be able to use it with Agent 
Can you consider adding that model to cursor?
Hey, if you’re getting the error “This model does not support tools,” try starting a new chat. This happens because you probably used one of the premium models from your subscription earlier. Creating a new chat should solve this issue.

You are right, I used it in a previously-agent chat. When I switch to native-ask chat, it worked!
It made me realize that the RAG-like behavior of the Agent, with a supporting model, is making them so much better compared to context-only ASK chats… so even if the model is really smart, it will only be usable if it can use the tools.
I wonder if it is possible for a model that is not in the official list, to support tools? Currently, I understand that this model, while super smart and free of charge, cannot realistically be added into the main list, because it is storing user context for improvement (you have to accept ToS on Openrouter).
Nevertheless, it would be nice to test it with the tools, even as a custom model.
Hope the Cursor team can make this happen!
