Models sit and do nothing, endless "waiting"

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

After update no models work, everything just sits on “…” endlessly.

This broke as soon as I ran the updater.
Have tried multiple models including the default Auto,
multiple resets, etc

It just sits here and does nothing.

Version: 1.5.9 (user setup)

Steps to Reproduce

Run anything in the AI pane.

Expected Behavior

AI models should respond.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report. Could you let me know if this also happens in new chats? Also, try running a network diagnostic in Cursor settings by using Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J and go to the Network tab.
