It would be great to be able to have chat tabs and create new chats and have them going simultaneously. This would be even better if we could prompt our agents to “act more” by perhaps getting more context before answering, or doing research on the web before answering, etc.
That will end up costing Cursor more money so I can’t see it happening in the short term. In the long term I think we are going to see substantial changes to how we manage agents.
As you say, what would be nice, for example, is that whenever an agent pauses, it considers its options for what to do next, and gives them as options to the user which you can then click on or select (e.g. choose option 1 to do more research on the web etc…)
But we can pay them for it!
yeah actually I saw on twitter that’s the plan now - having a more advanced agent mode which is usage based pricing. So apparently something like this is going to be the big new feature is v 37
