Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

In mainland China, you will need to use a ladder; this is due to model limitations, so you will need to prepare a ladder.

Hey @CyberCowboy!

I don’t think this has anything to do with model availability as @lili proposed (I could be wrong). A few things to check:

Could you try these troubleshooting steps?

  1. On your remote server, verify git is installed and in PATH: which git && git --version
  2. Confirm your workspace is opened at the git repository root (not a subdirectory)
  3. Check the Developer Console (Help > Toggle Developer Tools) for any extension errors

Thank you for you reply! I have solve this bug by reinstalling haha but I still did not figure it out.

Your troubleshooting steps is worth referencing. I found the output of this bug is because my cursor was trying to use a .so tool which is in a path I don’t have the permission right now, this tool is already no longer used. So I thought the problem is cursor was using an obselete cache. I checked my bashrc and deleted all the things in .cursor-remote but not works, so the problem must be in my local machine and I reinstalled cursor, it works haha.
