Hey @Yaddu, happy to help with these!

  1. You can see your current version and check for updates anytime in Settings → Updates. Occasionally we also require a minimum version. If your install is ever below it, the app will ask you to update before continuing, and your agents keep running the whole time.

  2. Those pop-ups are the forum suggesting similar topics while you write. You can dismiss them; there’s no per-user setting to turn them off.

  3. The latest stable release is 0.24.0.

  4. (and 5) Grok Bot doesn’t officially support Linux at the moment (that covers both Debian and Fedora), and the desktop app is only published for macOS and Windows today. We’re keeping an eye on Linux interest, and there’s a discussion you can follow here: Native Grok Bot desktop app for Arch Linux (and Linux generally)

  5. No special hardware needed. Your agents run on their own cloud computer, and the desktop app is a lightweight client, so any reasonably modern machine works fine.

  6. macOS (both Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows are the supported desktop platforms, and there’s an iOS app for your phone. Downloads live at https://x.ai/bot (More Downloads has the full list of flavors).

  1. No I mean when 0.26.0, 0.28.0 stable versions release. How can I know about it?

Right now that involves checking Settings → Updates, but we also regularly post on X about new releases!

No specific changelog yet.

Gotcha. Because I’ve got that 0.16.0.deb download, I don’t think I can search for updates.
