I recently installed codex extension in my cursor IDE. when i open codex, it’s opening on left side primary side bar and i am unable to see files if i use codex. So tried to drag to right side secondary bar, but there was no option. In secondary bar only cursor IDE is opening. Where in VS Code i was able to move to right side secondary bar and codex is showing just next to copilot on right side bar. Is there any option we can do similarly here in cursor. I really love cursor and wanted this option. Please help.
I did move codex to the right. But, then it disappears when I use cursor’s AI. So, I reset it back to the left. Haven’t tried your recommandation. But, can’t find that setting with Ctrl Shift P
The documentation for that setting mentions that vertical orientation is no longer maintained. While it still works, I wonder when this will stop working again.
Bro! i got a acceptable solution: move codex to panel is a fine option. view: reset view location first to set codex back to left then set codex to panel .
I have neither the extension bar on the left, nor a secondary panel. The layout looks a lot like VS Code, but thats not how my cursor layout looks. Are you using some theme, or other special settings?
Hey Aleksandr_Strizhevsk, it sounds like your layout just got toggled off. You can fix it by going to View > Appearance and clicking Show Activity Bar. To get those side panels back, just enable the Secondary Side Bar in that same menu or use the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + Option + B.
