On the New Agent screen, the floating prompt box sits on top of the Connect Source Control panel. The blue connect button is visible behind / through the composer, but it can’t be clicked. When I start typing in the prompt, that Connect Source Control UI disappears, so I still can’t reach the button.
The No Repo dropdown and moving/minimizing the composer also don’t give a reliable way to use that button.
Steps to Reproduce
Open Agents / New Agent (Cloud), with no repository connected yet.
Notice the Connect Source Control panel behind the floating “Plan, ask, build…” input.
Try to click the blue connect button.
Optionally start typing in the prompt box.
Expected Behavior
• The Connect Source Control panel (and its button) should be reachable, or
• Connecting a repo should be clearly available from the composer (e.g. No Repo), without depending on a button hidden under the input.
Hi @Dmitry_Protchenko Thank you for the post! Glad to see you’re trying out our brand new iPad app and we appreciate you sharing your experience with it.
What you’re seeing isn’t intended behavior, and it isn’t anything you’ve misconfigured. On iPad, the New Agent composer sits taller than the space reserved for the Connect Source Control card, so the card ends up underneath it and your taps land on the composer instead. The card disappearing once you start typing is separate, intended behavior, but it does mean focusing the prompt won’t get you to the button either.
Two ways to get unblocked in the meantime:
From the web: open cursor.com/dashboard/integrations in a browser and connect your source control provider there. Once that’s done, the iPad app picks it up and works normally.
From a narrower window: put Cursor into Slide Over or a narrow Split View on your iPad. That switches the app to the compact layout, where the Connect Source Control screen is fully visible and tappable. You can go back to full screen afterwards.
