Now that Cursor has forked the Microsoft’s C# base extension, do you have any plans keeping up with upstream fixes by the MS team? There’s been several releases already.

Hi @alex-jitbit – yes, we do plan on merging in rebase of the upstream and then will update the extension next week.

When checking the extension in Cursor → Extension → C# Last Updated 2025-05-31, 18:52:30 [image] So it seems that plan didn’t come true, what’s the new plan?

Mine says it’s been released on 2025-07-30 but it still lacks many important fixes from MS extension. Also this extension is not open-source, not published anywhere, no place to discuss or report issues other than this forum. @ravirahman please make it open source and publish it somewhere on open-vsix so we can fix bugs ourselves!!!

@ravirahman What? Resharper is a code assist/analysys tool. Are you saying you stop supporting an official C# extension? If yes - just say so.

WOuld be good to get some information on this as we’re now in November without any updates to the C# extension… @ravirahman
