[SOLVED] C/C++ Extension

Extension now yields:

The C/C++ extension may be used only with Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio for Mac, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, and successor Microsoft products and services to develop and test your applications.

1.17.62 is working fine
1.18.21 shows restriction popup

I thought I was going crazy, MS is being a major pain for me right now by doing this.

Trying clangd but it doesn’t seem to be able to navigate between symbols.

Broken for me after last update

Hey, you need to install the previous version and uncheck the auto-update checkbox.

Haaaaa, I see now, noted this yesterday and I thought it was something broken in my code refactor modernization.
Also, SFTP extension is broken and the only working version is by Natizyskunk.

I change its version to 1.23.6 and still can work. But don’t know whether this version will not be supported.

Same for the C# Extension, had to downgrade to the version before to make it work again. Freaking MS I swear.

Stop blaming MS for nothing. These plugins were never meant to be used outside of the MS Marketplace. All these wrappers around the MS Marketplace were illegal in the first place, and cursor developers should have warned about that from the beginning!

VS Code is open source, but the MS Marketplace is not
