When using the new Premium routing I want to see which model is being used for which task. As this is currently keeping me in the dark and I want to review the work.
Unless you can share the list of what model is used for which type of tasks under what circumstance.
What does it mean it’s billed at the model’s API price? How is that different from my current plan usage?
It’s not different at all.. All that premium does is choose the model for you, which you can then see billed in your dashboard like normal.
It is very confusing for Cursor to make Premium look like its similar to Auto when it is not Auto charges a flat rate, while Premium just picks what it thinks the best model is for the request and charges you as if you just chose that model yourself. For devs experienced with different AI models and knowing their strengths/weaknesses vs cost, Premium is a pointless feature and only adds a layer of obfuscation.
