New version V0.46 burning too many tokens

With the updates from today, i was able to burn like 80 tokens in less then a hour using the new sonnet 3.7. Thats fine, because the new model is expensive, and the thinking mode EACH block of code it was thinking, a new token was spent. Don’t know if this is right or just a bug, but i’ve lost a lot of tokens trying the new sonnet, thats sad because prob i’m not gonna use the newer models because they’re using a lot of tokens.

My real issue it’s i’ve switched to old 3.5-haiku, before each Agent mode was costing 1/3 of premium token, several topics here discussed this, on how this was cheaper. But with current update, i’ve runned 6 runs of agentic mode, and instead of two tokens, actually i’ve charged like 20 tokens… This is very bad :confused:

Seems this is bug, using more tokens that it should… If anyone have any update on this… This is very bad if this is the “new cursor”, before this update i was able to control my token spending - but now this is insane, im gonna burn my tokens in like 3 days of coding in this rate…

I’m not sure why it’s burning so many tokens, but i’ve just runned a new agentic on claude-haiku, and the execution that should be cost 1/3 of a token, actually was 4 tokens, seems that the new Agentic mode is opening / seeing way more context, wich is very good. But its costing soo many tokens… Can’t handle this :confused:
